Wadi Seir (Wadi Mill C)

Walking beside the stream in the prettiest section of the wadi, I almost missed this ruin, set as it is in a dense thicket of fruiting trees.
As you approach the mill it gives the impression of some old gothic ruin, towering above the landscape. This image is not entirely lost as you clamber around it. The water channel cascades down the cliff face behind the ruin, and a branch off from it is creating a pool in the remains of the wheel house.
The collapsed roof and walls mean that you are unable to see the chute exit into the wheel area. It does seem that the chute would open into the side of the room (with the curve of the roof tapering on to that wall) rather than the flat face at the end.
